Well its been a while since I last posted here and while spending all my time bitching to myself that other people dont update their shit I thought I would update mine.
Camille has been gone to her mothers house in CT for the last two weeks. She got alot of wedding shopping done dresses, invitations, etc… She handled the stress of it all pretty good.
Last weekend I had both days off so I decided I was going to go fishing, which I have not done in a long time. They have a small lake nearby on a navy base that has flatboats you can rent and they rent you a trolling motor to go along with it. So I did that on Saturday by myself, it was a perfect day and caught a few small fish.
The funny story is that when I got home, I hear music coming from two doors down from my house and I remembered the guy that lives there was having a party for his daughter that graduated high school and he had invited us to go. So I mosie on over there to see how its going. Well I get there and its me and my direct neibors and we are the only white folks there at this party. I felt like the only white kid in town. SO I go to get a beer, find something suitable in the cooler and live it up to the best of my ghetto white boy abilities. I finally got some reinforcements when I went and woke up my new roomate John (Chuck’s little brother) and he came over to join us at the party. Now I know what Rich (the party giver) feels like when he comes over to our partys with all these white folks around. Good times.
So me and John decide we are going to go fishing on Sunday and so we go back to the same little lake. Caught some more fish and thru them all back. It was nice to get out in the fresh air and do some fishing.
Good news is that I dont have to get a boat because Chuck and John are going to get one. This is a good thing.
Last night we went bowling. Pretty much an all KP event. They are having sign ups for a Thursday night bowling league. Turns out we signed up. Now all we need is matching shirts.
